“Books Read By ___” Charts and “Super Reader Award” Bookmarks

“Super Reader Award” Bookmarks and “Books Read by ___” Charts

In this blog, you will see bookmarks to reward students for their reading efforts.  Also included are charts for keeping track all of the books, including the Word Family Readers (WFR) books, that your students have read.

Give these “Super Reader Award” Bookmarks to reward students when they have met a challenging, personal reading goal, i.e., completing a “Books Read by ___”  chart.

Rewarding the students’ work is an important part of encouraging students to continue reading.

Enjoy your students’ success!

Reading Chart

This “Books Read by ___” Chart helps the students keep track of the books that they have read.

Students write in the name of the books they have read.  Each time the students complete one of these charts, you may provide a reward, i.e., “Super Reader Award” bookmark or a sticker or a small prize (depending on how hard the student had to work)

Place these charts in a notebook to help the students see all that they have read.
