Playing the Game
– Each player receives a Bingo Card. (When working with students, one on one, the teacher may be a player.)
– Mix up the Alphabet Picture Cards for the letters in play.
– The teacher shows an Alphabet Picture Card & says the letter, sound & key word.
– The students says the letter, sound and keyword.
– Players that have a matching letter on their Bingo card, place a marker on it. The challenge for the student is to match the Alphabet Picture Card to the same letter without the picture on their Bingo card.
– When a player has markers on all letters in a row or column or diagonally, he or she called out “Bingo.”
The game may be continued until player(s) have “Bingo” in two or more ways.
